The Archbishop is back in hospital
Cape Town - Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu has be readmitted to hospital after reportedly feeling unwell from the infection he was being treated for.
The 83-year-old was discharged a week ago, following treatment for a persistent infection.
His foundation said yesterday that Archbishop Tutu complained of renewed discomfort in his body after an intensive course of antibiotics that was meant to treat the infection.
Meanwhile his daughter, Mpho, has moved to allay fears that her father’s hospitalisation is not related to his cancer treatment.
His medical team reportedly told the media that the Archbishop would remain in hospital at least until the weekend.
